Prof. Nguyen Duy Hinh passed away [8/19/2008]

 

On 15th August 2008 hundres scientists visited last time Prof. Nguyen Duy Hinh in Hanoi. Prof. Nguyen Duy Hinh deseaced in Hanoi at 80 years olds. He is famous in vietnamese anthropologists as one of the leading scholars on the fields of archaeology, ancient history, history of culture, palaeoeconomy and theology. During his working as a major staff of Institute of Archaeology from 1970-1985 he excavated the Lang Pagoda (Van Lam, Hung Yen) and was Head of the Library. Prof. Nguyen Duy Hinh is authors of many books and more than hundres scientific articles. We offer with deepest sympathy to Prof. Nguyen Duy Hinh's family and his close relatives.
